## Budget arithmetic

View-based cost = eligible delivered views / 1,000 * agreed CPM
Spend under a ceiling = min(view-based cost, agreed ceiling)
Planning views = budget / assumed CPM * 1,000
Realized CPM = actual spend / eligible delivered views * 1,000

If eligible views are zero, realized CPM is unavailable. A budget conversion is not a forecast of organic reach. Confirm all billing terms in the campaign agreement.

## Rights and approval checklist

- [ ] Confirm permission to clip and publish each source, including guests and third-party media.
- [ ] Check music and footage permissions for each planned platform and use.
- [ ] Preserve the speaker's meaning and necessary qualifications.
- [ ] Verify names, captions, product statements, and calls to action.
- [ ] Check framing, caption safe areas, and brand treatment.
- [ ] Confirm the correct account, timing, and approval status.
- [ ] Assign a contact for corrections or removal requests.

## Sample brand rules (adapt before use)

- Keep the speaker's qualification in any excerpt that contains a claim.
- Open with a complete thought; avoid a hook that changes the meaning.
- Use approved captions and logo placement; identify the speaker accurately.
- Route sensitive topics, unverified product claims, and off-brief clips to a reviewer.
- Use only the approved destination link and call to action.

## Suggested 30-day test

Days 1–7: Confirm the brief, source permissions, account access, billing rules, and first batch approvals.
Days 8–14: Publish a controlled test and verify post links and analytics collection.
Days 15–21: Compare groups by platform, topic, hook, and length; change one variable at a time.
Days 22–30: Reconcile views and spend; review followers and downstream actions before scaling.

This is a planning schedule, not an onboarding commitment.

## Weekly measurement scorecard

| Platform / account | Post URL | Published at | Measured at | Eligible views | Spend | Net new followers | Profile visits | Tracked clicks | Decision |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | | | | | | |

Include the eligible-view definition and measurement window. Keep platforms separate when view definitions differ. Track net account follower growth separately from attributed followers. Do not sum post views and label them unique people.

## Hypothetical reporting example

| Period | Eligible views | Assumed CPM | View-based spend | Budget ceiling |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Example month | 800,000 | $1.50 | $1,200 | $5,000 |

This example is arithmetic, not a customer result, quote, or guarantee.
