Functionality

The Add Brainrot node adds a secondary visual layer to a clip, commonly used to create high-retention short-form edits with split-screen or overlay-style visuals.

Users can configure:

  • Category: choose the style of brainrot overlay, including, Minecraft, Satisfying, Subway Surfers, or Custom
  • Re-randomize: generate a new random overlay when using the Random category
  • Custom upload: add a custom overlay asset instead of using a preset category
  • Crop Position: choose whether the main video appears on the top or bottom of the frame
  • Overlay Height: control how much of the video the brainrot overlay covers, from 20% to 100%

The node combines the original content with the selected overlay style to create a more dynamic short-form edit. It is especially useful for clips intended for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and other fast-scrolling social feeds.
